Emdena has been founded 1987 as a private company owned by Mr. Konrad Heikes. The company’s name and colours of the flag refers to Konrad Heikes native town Emden, where he started his shipping career.
Emdena Chartering GmbH enjoys a first class reputation among ship owners and Charterers alike due to flexibility, accuracy and most important commitment. In recent years Emdena Chartering has become a family run business with the support of Julian Heikes who has joined Emdena in 2014.
